ENVIRONMENT, SOCIAL, GOVERNANCE We take responsibility for our future

The sustainable development of the company is important to us because we are aware of the responsibility that the Paris Climate Agreement entails. As a company, we therefore want to act in such a way that our grandchildren and great-grandchildren also have a future worth living. We have been making our contribution to climate protection for decades - we have been using hydropower since 1919 and are deeply committed to the use of renewable energies, initially hydropower and later solar energy.

As a medium-sized company, we are faced with the major task of ensuring our competitiveness despite the massive rise in energy costs and designing our processes and products in such a way that they help to achieve climate protection targets. We are continuing along this path and thus securing our location. And we offer our customers added value in achieving their climate protection goals.

REDUCTION OF CO₂ EMISSIONS KGM sustainability report

We always make an effective contribution to climate protection through innovation. To illustrate our commitment and objectives to date, we have prepared a sustainability report for the first time for the 2023 financial year. It reports transparently on our activities and our understanding of sustainability according to ESG criteria in the VSME standard based on the regulations of the GHG Protocol and is updated annually.
